SDF Verification
There are two levels of membership for individuals. The levels are Regular Membership and Associate Membership.
Regular Membership is open to those individuals who are members of State Defense Forces and Naval Militias organized according to 32 USC 109 and 10 USC. That means they are state employees.
Associate Membership is open to individuals who are civilians with an interest in State Defense Forces and members of the Armed Forces or National Guard.
Both Regular Members and Associate Members may partake of all programs of the League and may service in a staff position at the discretion of the President.
Membership is not open to any individual who is in a private militia, a non-state government group claiming to be a State Defense Force, a provisional State Defense Force, has been dishonorably discharged from any branch of the military or is known to engage in dishonorable or criminal conduct.
Membership applications will be reviewed for accuracy. When membership is approved, the individual will have his name added to the membership roll on this website. Membership must be renewed each year. A false statement on an application will result in removal from membership rolls.
Criteria for membership may be changed at any time due to the needs of the League.
