The State Defense Force League is a certifying agent for the President's Volunteer Service Awards.
The State Defense Force League Members are eligible to apply for the President's Volunteer Service Awards.

President’s Call to Service Award
Criteria - 4,000 hours or more of volunteer service (over a lifetime).

President’s Volunteer Service Award Criteria
Bronze Level - Adults: 100 to 249 hours
Silver Level  - Adults: 250 to 499 hours
Gold Level - Adults: 500 hours or more
* The yearly award that can be earned once during a twelve month period.

State Defense Force
League members desiring to apply for the award members must create and submitt a written document that outlines the volunteer service that has been done over a 12 month period (Service Award) or over a lifetime (Call to Service Award). The document should be detailed and include dates of service, type of service and hours of service for each activity. The finished document should be sent to the official mailing address of the League.

Upon verification of the volunteer serivice the League can turn the results over to the government for processing. There is a charge from the goverment for processing of certifcates and award pins. Payment of this costs is the responsibility of the individual desiring the award. You will contacted after verfication of award eligbility to see if you desire to obtain certificates and pins.
